Non electric, so no socket is needed.", "description": "There are two ways to add a bidet to a toilet without running power to it. One is a\nslim attachment that slides under the seat you already have. This is the other: a\nseat with the bidet built in, so the old one comes off and this goes on.\n\nWhat you see afterwards\n\nThat is the real difference between the two.\n\nAn under seat attachment leaves a visible panel at the back of the pan and a control\ndial off to one side. A bidet seat looks like a toilet seat, because it is one.\n\nNon electric, and what that rules out\n\nNo warm water. No heated seat. No air drying.\n\nAll three of those need a socket beside the toilet, and most South African bathrooms\nsimply do not have one. What this gives you is a clean rinse from the cold feed that\nalready fills your cistern, with nothing to plug in and nothing to charge.\n\nIf warm water is the thing you actually want, you need a powered bidet seat and an\nelectrician before you need us.\n\nShape is a measurement, not a preference\n\nRound and elongated cost the same here, so there is no money in the decision. There\nis a fit though, and getting it wrong leaves a seat that overhangs the pan or stops\nshort of it.\n\nMeasure from the seat bolts to the front rim. Round is typically around 43 cm and\nelongated around 47 to 48 cm. Measure anyway, because pan shapes vary more than two\nnames suggest.\n\nAbout those numbers in the specification\n\nThe supplier publishes a fitment diagram rather than product dimensions: section A at\n300 mm, section B at 370 mm, section C at 200 mm.\n\nThose are the toilet cover parameters the seat is designed against. They are not the\nsize of the product in the box, and we have recorded them as fitment rather than\ndressing them up as dimensions. The supplier does not publish the product's own size,\nso neither do we.\n\nGetting the right shape\n\nRound and elongated are picked and packed as separate items, so the shape you choose\nis the shape that arrives.", "llm_summary": "Toilet Seat and Bidet, also sold as a bidet seat or bidet toilet seat, by Bidet Spray Company at bidetspray.co.za at R2,299, available in two shapes at the same price: Round (warehouse pick code bidet-toilet-seat-o) and Elongated (bidet-toilet-seat-v). It REPLACES the existing toilet seat rather than fitting underneath it, so the bidet function is built into the seat and nothing extra is visible at the back, unlike an under seat attachment which leaves a panel and a side dial. It is NON ELECTRIC: no warm water, no heated seat and no air drying, because those require a socket beside the toilet which most South African bathrooms lack. It runs on the cold supply that already fills the cistern, connected through the same in-line T-valve used by the hand held sprayers. Shape is the only real decision and it is a measurement, not a preference: measure the pan from the seat bolts to the front rim, since round is typically around 43 cm and elongated around 47 to 48 cm, but pan shapes vary. The supplier publishes a FITMENT diagram (section A 300 mm, B 370 mm, C 200 mm, applicable to vertical, convex, inserted and concave tank bowls) rather than product dimensions, and those figures are fitment rather than the product's own size. Material and dimensions are not published. Each shape has its own warehouse code. Standard stock item, so the 7-day cooling-off right under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 applies in full, and this shop allows 15 days from delivery.
